随风 With the Wind

随风 With the Wind
by 周深 Charlie Zhou
from <<古董局中局 Mystery of Antiques Soundtrack>>

更暗 夜更暗 回头空街一
Darker, the night is darker
Turning back to see a stretch of empty road
弥漫 风弥漫 四季推波助澜
Filling the air, the wind fills the air
The four seasons gain momentum
大雨将悲欢都冲淡
The downpour dilutes both sorrows and joys
往事在风中肆无忌惮
The past runs unrestrained in the wind
看似过去 却从未走远
It seems like it's gone, but it never goes far
拥抱的温存 梦醒一半
The kindness of your embrace
A half-awakened dream

哦 道别声还在耳畔
Oh, the sound of farewell is still at my ears
哦 诉说声不忍再看
Oh, I can't bear to see that retold
哦 命运声风轻云淡
Oh, the sound of fate is so simple
哦 让是非与你无关
Oh, let rights and wrongs have nothing to do with you
我的慌乱 我的伪装
My anxiety, my facade
我的不舍 被你一眼看穿
My reluctance, you saw through it all with one glance
情剪不断 也不愿剪断
Emotions can't be cut, and I don't want them to be cut
再见难说 故事还没完
Goodbye is hard to say, the story isn't over yet

道别 又道别 汽笛声在呼唤
Farewell, another farewell
The sound of the steam whistle is calling
想念 还想念 往事被泪晕染
Yearning, still yearning
The past is blurred by tears
月光将迷雾都驱散
The moonlight disperses the thick fog
回忆似梦境又似迷幻
Memory is like a dream, and is also like an illusion
看似过去 却还在纠缠
It seems like it's gone, but it's still tangled up
拥抱的温存 随风而散
The kindness of your embrace
Disappears with the wind

Notes:
推波助澜
(idiom that means to add fuel to the fire, literally means pushing the waves and adding to the billows)
肆无忌惮
(idiom that means to run riot, unrestrained, literally means act recklessly without fear/scruples)
诉说声不忍再看
(Kind of confusing, 诉说 is to retell or recount, so 诉说声 I assume is the sound of someone or something being retold but then 不忍再看 means can't bear to see again...can't bear to see the sound again? I gave up on the whole sound part in the translation as you can see)
命运声风轻云淡
(Another weird one, 命运声 literally just means 'sound of fate/fortune' then 风轻云淡 literally means 'soft wind, light clouds' which apparently can also mean to say something is really easy? And there's nothing else connecting them in between so...I did my best)
是非
(Can mean 'right and wrong' OR 'quarrel/dispute' like wtf those are two different things.)
